Do Something

[sg_popup id=”4204″ event=”inherit”][/sg_popup]Anything and everything you do matters.

First, the bad news: The issues are complex and may seem overwhelming.
The good news: There are lots of ways to do something about them!

Here are some ideas—or contact us and let’s talk!

Donate

Maybe the quickest and easiest thing you can do is make a donation to support our work. That definitely helps. Beyond that, though, Texas needs your involvement!

You can support Texas PSR by adding us as your charity of choice on AmazonSmile with no cost to you.

Advocate

Concerned enough to pick up the phone or write something? Fantastic!

  • Find out who your representatives are and how to contact them here.
  • Write a letter to the editor. (We can help.)
  • Testify at a legislative or regulatory hearing—when the time is right.
  • Write an article or blog post about one of the issues we work on. How is your family, community, or practice impacted by climate change, toxics, food systems, or the threat of nuclear war? Do you have a story to share about how you and your community are creatively making a difference? We might want to feature your story on our site! Send us an email. Let’s talk.

Bring people together

We are delighted to help raise awareness about environmental health with groups of people, all across the state. Invite us to come speak—or let’s plan a movie screening, postcard-writing party, or potluck dinner. Advocacy is more fun (and more effective!) with friends.

Raise awareness

Talk to your friends, family, and colleagues about the issues you care about. Share articles on social media. Strike up conversations. Tell them about Texas PSR.
