Steve McKee, MSSW hired as TX PSR Executive Director December 17, 2017

The Texas PSR Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Steve McKee, MSSW, an established leader in the Texas social services sector, has joined the organization as Executive Director. Steve has more than thirty years experience in executive leadership and consulting roles and was founder of Pathways Community Counseling, a nationally recognized children’s mental health center, and  a co-founder of LifeWorks, the largest youth and family services provider in Austin, Texas.

Steve holds a graduate degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and served on the faculty there as a lecturer for several years. He has been a long time supporter of environmental causes. His specific interests include the effects of climate change on public health, the elimination of nuclear weapons, and the advancement of public policies that promote clean air and clean water.
