Texas PSR Presents: New Tools to Protect Communities from Air Pollution and Heat

Dr. Modi will present on the “HAQ” or “Heat and Air Quality” App that she and colleagues are developing to help patients in the DFW area understand how heat and air quality intersect to create dangerous conditions for people with heart and lung conditions and help them get access to resources. Dr. Phillips will present the American College of Cardiology’s new Infographic for Air Pollution and Your Heart and discuss how it helps patients understand how air pollution impacts heart health.
