YOUR TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFT will go directly toward building our capacity to mobilize more health professionals, engage policy makers, and bring urgency to the need to address the climate crisis, the build-up of nuclear weapons, and continuing health, racial, and economic disparities.
The new administration gravely threatens our planetary health and survival. They are reversing our climate change wins and accelerating nuclear dangers thus underscoring the imperative for an unwavering commitment to environmental and social justice, and peace for all.
- Train and Mobilize Health Professionals: We will equip health professional leaders to advocate for climate action and nuclear safety, amplify their voices through public engagement, and ensure their expertise informs local, state, and federal policymaking as well legal interventions we might need to participate in.
- Provide Environmental Health Education: We will provide our CME environmental health webinars, support the development of tailored classes for medical and public health schools in Texas, and create an online education center.
- Invest in Young Health Professionals: Investing in the next generation is essential. We will continue to nurture our six student chapters in Texas medical and public health schools, along with our internship program, to equip the next generation to champion our causes and sustain this fight for years to come.
