Anabel Rodriguez, PhD, MPH

Dr. Anabel Rodriguez is a field occupational epidemiologist whose work centers on improving the health, safety, and well-being of Spanish and Indigenous-speaking agricultural working populations (e.g., migrant farmworkers, dairy farm workers, H-2A visa guest farmworkers, produce bodega workers). Her research spans vaccine access, infectious disease prevention (e.g., tuberculosis, influenza), health access barriers, and evaluation of health training programs. She investigates how precarious employment and systematic barriers contribute to health disparities in rural and medically underserved communities, including the Texas Panhandle and the Rio Grande Valley.
