Billions of air pollution particles found in hearts of city dwellers August 6, 2019
Scientists said an abundance of toxic air pollution nanoparticles was found in the hearts of young city dwellers and this represents a serious public health concern. A recent comprehensive review concluded that air pollution may be damaging every organ and virtually every cell in the human body, as tiny particles are inhaled, move into the bloodstream and are transported around the body. Air pollution must urgently be reduced.
