Since President Trump has taken office, we are seeing a general rollback of environmental protections at the national level. National Geographic is keeping a running list here. We know that having clean air and clean water reduces costs and saves lives—and we know that climate change is bad for our health. The wisest investments we can make right now are those that ensure strong environmental protections.

We should be working as quickly as we can to prevent worsening climate change and ensure clean air and water. Call or write both your Senators and your Congressional representative regularly to encourage their support of environmental protections.
